On Friday, during day 2 of Comic-Con, M. Night Shyamalan's upcoming 2019 film “Glass” had its panel in Hall H. The all-star cast, which includes Bruce Willis, James McAvoy, Samuel L. Jackson, and Sarah Paulson, were all there to talk about the film. The movie is a sequel to Shamaylan’s 2000 “Unbreakable” and last year’s “Split,” according to The Los Angeles Times. Willis and Jackson will reprise their roles as David Dunn and Mr. Glass from “Unbreakable” and McAvoy will reprise his role as the beast from “Split.”
Also, one of AMC’s most popular shows, “The Walking Dead” was represented at San Diego Comic-Con to talk about the upcoming season nine. The cast and crew revealed what may happen in the next season, as well as some new characters which will be introduced.
The third movie in a series
Shamylan’s upcoming “Glass” is the third movie in a series which started all the way back, in 2000, with “Unbreakable.” The movie will feature Mcavoy’s character clashing with Willis’s and Jackson’s characters from “Unbreakable.”
According to The Los Angelos Times, Jackson commented on his character, saying that “He has a fragile body but his mind is so strong” and that his character is “quiet.” He further said that “I don't actually play the same mother ... all the time.
The end of an era for Rick
A month ago, Andrew Lincoln, who plays the titular character, was reportedly set to depart the show. Lincoln confirmed this at Comic-Con. He will depart the show sometime during the season, according to a report by The Huffington Post.
The world premiere trailer, which was shown at the panel, may hint at his death.
According to The Huffington Post, the executive producer of the show, David Alpert, said about the shots viewed in the trailer, that “there are a couple practical considerations, like where we are in the season, so it’s still relatively early that we have enough finished footage, but we’re making some pretty critical changes in the show."
New enemies to be introduced to the show
According to The Huffington Post, the trailer may confirm that The Whisperers will be introduced to the show as next seasons villains.
They are a significant part of “The Walking Dead” comics and will be seen for the first time on screen.
M. Night Shaymalan’s highly anticipated “Glass” is slated to be released everywhere, January 19, 2019. Season nine of “The Walking Dead” will premiere on October 7 at 9 PM ET on AMC.
