Has Kristen Doute been fired by Bravo TV ahead of the upcoming seventh season of "Vanderpump Rules"? Although recent rumors have suggested that Doute, who has been featured on the show in a full-time role since season one, has been replaced by transgender cast member Billie Lee, who appeared in a part-time role during season five, Doute's co-star, Jax Taylor, denied the claims on Twitter days ago.

According to a report from Infosurhoy on July 11, Jax Taylor reacted to Doute's alleged firing and replacement in a new tweet, in which he told his fans and followers on Twitter that he didn't understand where the rumor got started.

After Doute took on the report herself, labeling it "fake news," Taylor said that he's been filming with Doute every day. He also said that the rumor doesn't even make sense.

Fans on Twitter and Instagram seem to be just as confused about the reports as Taylor, especially considering the many photos and videos that have surfaced of Doute and the "Vanderpump Rules" cast. Ever since filming on season seven began several weeks ago, Doute has appeared to be just as in the loop with her co-stars as she's ever been.

Bille Lee has reportedly been upgraded to full-time on 'Pump Rules'

As fans of the Bravo TV reality series will recall, Billie Lee joined the cast during its fifth season in 2017 after she was given a job as a hostess at Lisa Vanderpump's West Hollywood SUR Restaurant.

Recently, Radar Online claimed that because she was such a hit on the show, producers decided to give her Doute's full-time role and demote Doute to a part-time role.

“[Billie Lee] did extremely well,” the source said. “All of the cast loves her — and so did ratings!”

During her first season with the show, Lee established a number of close friendships with her co-stars, including Scheana Marie and Ariana Madix.

Is Kristen Doute too boring for the show?

As for Kristen Doute, the insider said, “She’s just not crazy Kristen anymore.” In recent years, Doute has been in the midst of drama with her co-stars due to her controversial hookup with Jax Taylor and her contentious relationship with her now-ex-boyfriend James Kennedy. However, after striking up a romance with boyfriend Brian Carter years ago, she seemed to calm her ways and take on a more subdued demeanor.

"Vanderpump Rules" is expected to return to Bravo TV later this year for season seven but a premiere date for the new installment has not yet been set.
