"The Challenge" is coming back to MTV with its 32nd season this summer. Set to air on July 10, 2018 on MTV, "The Challenge: Final Reckoning" is sure to rekindle old vendettas from the previous seasons "Dirty 30" and "Vendettas." The theme is similar to "Rivals," the season where people were partnered with their enemies for the entire show. The partners this time are based solely on their rivalry with the other, meaning they are guy-guy pairs, girl-girl pairs, and guy-girl pairs. The driving force to make everyone cooperate with each other is the winner's bank -- $1 million prize.
The first trailer of the season explains how "the past never stays buried," which is the driving theme for "The Challenge: Final Reckoning."

The cast
This season is set in South Africa with TJ Lavin back to host. Expect to find some favorite "The Challenge" stars like C.T., Johnny "Bananas," Cara Maria, and reconnected couple Jenna Compono and Zach Nichols.
Cast members who first made waves on "Ex on the Beach" will also appear on the show. Angela Babicz, Faith Stowers, and Paulie Calafiore are set to join as rookies from the U.S.
version of the show, while Melissa Reeves, Kayleigh Morris, and Joss Mooney are returning one-time veterans from the U.K. version.
The newest tradition of adding "Are You the One?" cast mates is continuing, with returning stars Britni Thornton, Amanda Garcia, Derrick Henry, Kam Williams, Nelson Thomas, and Tori Deal. This will be the first challenge for season three's Chuck Mowery.
The remaining cast includes "Real World" stars Jemmye Carroll, Brad Fiorenza, Marie Roda, Sylvia Elsrode, Khailah Casillas, "Geordie Shore" star Kyle Christie, "Big Brother" star Natalie Negrotti, and "Road Rules" alumns Shane Landrum and Veronica Portillo.
The remaining rookies are Da'Vonne Rogers and Jozea Flores from "BIg Brother."
Who will be Bananas' partner?
So far everyone is partnered up, except Bananas.
His friend-turned-enemy Tony Raines is not on the cast list, but with the amount of curveballs the show throws at fans, it wouldn't be too big of a surprise to see him join as Bananas' partner for the newest season.
Bananas is known for being a villain on "The Challenge," so he could probably be partnered with just about anyone.
