Could Leah Messer and Jeremy Calvert be on the verge of a reconciliation? Three years after the couple divorced as the "Teen Mom 2" star treated issues of depression and anxiety at an Arizona rehab, Calvert has admitted on-screen that he will always love his former wife, who is also the mother of his only child, four-year-old Adalynn Faith.

During the June 11 episode of "Teen Mom 2," Calvert made a phone call to his former partner during a party for her twin girls, Aleeah and Ali Simms, and during the call, he apologized to her for being mean in the past and said that he will always love her and thinks she's a great mother to their child.

“I really truthfully, want to, like, deeply apologize for saying that about you,” Calvert told Messer during the call, according to a June 12 report by Hollywood Life. “I do really want to thank you for like being a good mom to my kids,” he continued.

Leah Messer was hooking up with Jeremy Calvert earlier this year

Prior to Calvert's intense phone call, he and Messer had rekindled their romance and began hooking up with one another. However, they never actually made their relationship official and Calvert ultimately began dating Desiree Kibler weeks later. Still, despite the new romance, Calvert will always have a special place in his heart for his former wife. “No matter what, I’m still always going to love you,” he explained.

Although Jeremy Calvert seemed to be open to the idea of a reconciliation with Leah Messer earlier this year, she didn't appear to be on board with the idea during a chat with her sister Victoria Messer earlier in the episode. In fact, she told Victoria that she "hoped" Calvert's phone call wouldn't be a plea for her to take him back.

Jeremy Calvert and Desiree Kibler broke up weeks ago

Earlier this month, just weeks after confirming they were dating, Jeremy Calvert and Desiree Kibler took to their Twitter pages and made it clear that their relationship was no more. Then, after deleting all traces of Kibler from his Instagram page, Calvert shared a tweet with his fans and followers in which he suggested that it was Kibler's inability to put him first that led to their breakup.
