Scheana Marie opened up about her social media habits during an interview on Podcast One's "Bigger Talks With Eric Bigger." While chatting with the former "Bachelorette" contestant on his show, the "Vanderpump Rules" star said that while she used to be quite obsessed with her social media pages, she is now a much more "zen" person and does her best to keep her social media activity to a minimum.

"I tend to be a pretty zen person. I smoke my weed. I stay off social media when I don't need to be on it. It's been nice to not be refreshing it all of the time," Scheana Marie explained to Eric Bigger.

"When I need to post something, I'll post. And when I'm not doing that, I don't need to be looking at every single comment. You drive yourself crazy."

Scheana Marie is a recovering social media-holic

After being asked if she was obsessed with social media in the past, the "Vanderpump Rules" star said, "Oh for sure," but insisted that her love of social media was rooted in her love and appreciation for her fans. "I love interacting with fans because without fans we don't have a job," she said. "We don't have a show or a job without the people watching it. So, I love that interaction where, even if someone wants to know what color lipstick I'm wearing, to respond. Getting that response sometimes, like, make someone's day.

That's gratifying in its own because I'm making people happy by doing the easiest thing ever, just responding."

"I don't get why more people don't do that. So, that's one thing that I'm really big on social media with," the reality star added.

Scheana Marie gets defensive at times

"I also fall down the rabbit hole of the haters and trolls," Scheana Marie said of her online critics.

"That was the part where I kind of just had to take a step back, like, 'You're sounding like a crazy person. You're not in this relationship anymore.' It is a television show and people are going to judge on what that see. I needed to just stop being so defensive. So I was like, 'I'm just going to take a break for a while."

To see more of Scheana Marie and her co-stars, including Brittany Cartwright, Stassi Schroeder, Jax Taylor Lisa Vanderpump, Ariana Madix, Tom Sandoval, Tom Schwartz, Lala Kent, Katie Maloney, James Kennedy, and Kristen Doute, don't miss the return of "Vanderpump Rules" later this year.
