It's pumpkin season at the Roloff Farms! Once a year during Fall, the Roloffs open up their massive property in Oregon so fans and visitors could pick out pumpkins and tour the compound. Last night's "Little People, Big World" episode featured this all-important highlight for the Roloff family.
While the month-long pumpkin season is usually a festive affair for the family, this particular season had a bit of drama as Matt and Amy Roloff dealt with their post-divorce issues. Read on for our full recap below!
Matt asks Amy to work with new girlfriend
It's a tension-filled pumpkin season at the Roloff Farms, as Matt struggled to gather everyone to help out. As seen in the previous episode, Zach and Jeremy did promise to pitch in but they were also busy as new dads. Last night, things escalated as Amy realized that she couldn't avoid dealing with Matt's current girlfriend if she wanted to make this pumpkin season a successful one.

Though now divorced, Matt and Amy Roloff still work together as business partners. But when Matt asked Amy to plan a party for the pumpkin workers, he also suggested that she work with Caryn Chandler--his current flame.
"LPBW" fans know Caryn as a longtime employee at the Roloff Farm, and Matt had previously described her as being vital in the family business.
However, Amy was visibly uncomfortable at the idea of spending time with her ex-husband's new lady. As Pop Culture recapped, Amy commented that "it's not healthy" for her to work beside Caryn.
The "LPBW" matriarch added that this year's pumpkin season has been "one of the hardest things" she's ever gone through.
"Caryn has been part of pumpkin season and managing it for a long time and does a great job. But knowing the relationship between Matt and Caryn, and to know that they're dating... You know, to work beside Caryn, it's not healthy for me," Amy Roloff said in a confessional.
Caryn Chandler: 'I respect Amy'
Despite her apprehensions, Amy put aside negative emotions and she's later seen interacting with Caryn to plan a party for the farm workers. The two women went through the preparations cordially, but the awkwardness between them was evident.
Caryn opened up about her complicated relationship with Matt's ex-wife in a confessional. Teary-eyed, she admitted that she had a lot of respect for the "LPBW" matriarch and would leave the farm if Amy told her to.
"I respect Amy tremendously and I always want to honor her feelings first and foremost. I hope that in time, our relationship could get better," Caryn said. "And if at any time Amy asked me to leave, I would give her my blessing."
Radar Online reported that Caryn Chandler has recently quit her job at the Roloff Farms.
An insider also revealed that Amy's feelings towards her were perfectly normal, as Matt confirmed their relationship soon after the divorce. In last night's episode, Amy admitted that she felt slighted and hurt.
"When I'm in the same room with Caryn, I've got a constant reminder of a marriage that didn't work out and of a loss," the 53-year-old reality star said.
"If at anytime Amy asked me to leave...."
