Baby Jackson had the most amazing first birthday ever! The "Little People, Big World" grandchild turned one year old on Saturday, May 12, and his family threw him a super-adorable camping-themed party with tents, picnic food, and loads of gifts.
The Roloff Family, starting with Jackson's mom Tori, posted photos from baby J's fun-filled outdoor celebration. On Instagram, Tori shared their family picture, with baby Jackson sitting on a high chair eating his birthday cake. Jackson was clearly making a mess with the icing, but he was totally having a blast!
"And somehow we have a one-year-old? Happy birthday, Mister Mister!" Tori wrote in the caption.
The party details
Jackson's first birthday party had the "Little People, Big World" family set up a tent with buntings on the front that read "Camp Jackson." Guests included Zach and Tori's closest friends and the entire Roloff Family including Baby Ember, Jackson's 8-month-old cousin.
Tori also lovingly made a "Jackson board" to document her son's milestones and favorite things. The DIY sign had a list of Jackson's nicknames, favorite snacks, and other things he loves doing now that he's one-year-old.
Prior to the day, Matt Roloff took to Instagram to tell his fans that he's busy preparing for his grandchild's big day, from setting up the farm to buying lots of gifts.
The 56-year-old "Little People, Big World" patriarch also shared a snippet of baby J's party by posting a video showing the one-year-old sitting on the ground while opening his presents. A cameraman can be seen in the short clip, so baby J's first birthday party will likely be seen in future episodes of the Roloff family's long-running reality show.
Tori Roloff gets emotional
Tori Roloff has documented her son's growth by taking monthly photos and listing down Baby J's milestones every month. The 27-year-old mom couldn't help but be emotional as she shared the last of this monthly tradition.
"Taking this photo made me emotional because it's the last time I'll set him down on this blanket to take his photo.
The first of many things I have to let go of," the reality star wrote.
Tori also reminisced about Jackson's birth exactly one year ago. Baby J was born via C-section on May 12, 2017, weighing 9 lbs 1 oz and measuring 20.5 inches long. Jackson Kyle Roloff--the first "LPBW" grandchild--inherited the Roloffs' dwarfism genes and was born with achondroplasia, the same type of dwarfism that Zach and his mom Amy Roloff have.
According to Tori, Jackson has brought "nothing but joy" to them ever since he was born. The young mom proudly shared that Jackson can now pull himself up and is days away from taking his first steps. Tori also mentioned that their little boy has a "hilarious" personality and is always up for fun antics.
