Kanye West started to use social media again. It all started with a tweet he sent out supporting Candace Owens, an outspoken conservative who speaks about victim mentality. Candace Owens claims that in order to overcome the difference among people everybody must overcome their victim mentality. She had an outburst during a speech at UCLA, which led to Kanye's reaction.

Kanye West

Kanye West started tweeting again. He started tweeting about Candace Owen and that he liked the way she thought. She had been speaking at UCLA talking about losing the victim mentality.

Victim mentality is blaming others for your misfortune. People are not trying to overcome their situation. They are not thinking for themselves and are just accepting the narrative they have been told. It is easier to play the victim than to speak up and make a change.

That led to a series of tweets from Kanye West. He started with Candace Owens, then moved onto free thinking, encouraging people to think for themselves and break the cycle of tyranny. It is the narrative that they have been taught and is the emphasis of politicians.

Another set of tweets included the phrase that he was reported as the “red pilling of Kanye” as reported by the Townhall website.

This is in reference to the movie, "The Matrix." At the beginning of the movie, Nemo is asked which pill he wants to take the red pill or the blue pill. The red pill will let him see the world as it is actually known, or the Matrix.

Kanye West has taken the red pill. He now speaks freely and without fear. This is his enlightenment.

Free thinking is where you think as an individual.

You speak freely and break the bonds of society. He is not advocating violence or rioting. He is promoting free speech and open discussion among individuals. Kanye West is not telling people how to think, simply suggesting that they need to have independent thoughts.

He has not stated he is a conservative. He explains that he has not done enough research to decide, yet another great example of free thinking. He is not advocating for President Trump or against Hillary Clinton. People should listen to all aspects of a person's belief and then develop their own personal beliefs.

Candace Owens

Candace Owens is a young conservative that was recently appointed communications director for Turning Point USA.

This is a strongly conservative organization. Her platform is to encourage young citizens to be “focused on the future.” according to Breitbart News website.

This led to a meeting between Kanye West, Candace Owens, and Charlie Kirk. Kirk is the head of Turning Point USA. The reason for this meeting was not disclosed. Kanye West supported Trump during his campaign so the meeting is not a total surprise.

His volume of tweets since his personal hiatus has been surprising. It has caught the eye of the media and other entertainers which include Janelle Monae, John Legend, and Ice-T. He has received a lot of negative comments from these people.

The Washington Post had an article about Candace Owens.

The article covered her interview with Fox News stating she was against Black Lives Matter and police brutality. She was also advocating against the victim mentality. The article excerpt on Townhall website stated, “Contrarianism is a much lesser goal than iconoclasm, and much easier to achieve.”

It was not an approval for Candace Owens. She is taking the easy way out to gain fame and notoriety according to The Washington Post. According to the article on Townhall website, “Kanye fell for it.” This goes back to Kanye's freethinking philosophy - If you think different, then you are wrong. Candace Owens and Kanye West are not advocating for violence. All they are encouraging is free thinking.

In conclusion, Kanye West has come out of hibernation and started a tweetstorm.

He has questioned his thought process and the thought processes of others. This is in contrast to the modern thoughts.

It has attracted a lot of criticism. Even during his TMZ interview, an employee challenged him. The employee's argument really explained exactly what Kanye West was trying to prove. The argument during the interview made the point better than Kanye could have during the interview or his tweetstorm.
