While Thanos achieved his victory during "Infinity War," this does not mean that the Avengers will not do something about it. After all, the fourth film will resurrect the characters that were killed by Thanos with his snapped his finger.

These include Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, Black Panther, the Guardians of the Galaxy, and more.

But what is most intriguing, is that comic book fans have emphasized the word "sacrifice" meaning another Marvel hero will be killed in the movie. Cast members Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, and Robert Downey Jr. are reaching the end of their contract with Marvel Studios, so it is expected that Captain America, Thor, or Iron Man will meet their demise during their last battle.

The sequel will also feature other characters absent during "Infinity War" such as Hawkeye, Ant-Man, Wasp, and Captain Marvel, as well as deceased heroes coming out of the grave like Quicksilver [VIDEO]. Clint Barton will drop the "Hawkeye" name for a new identity, while Scott Lang and Hope Van Dyne will have their hands full with Ghost in "Ant-Man and The Wasp." Carol Danvers will have her one solo film, "Captain Marvel," before her return to Earth.

Jim Starlin character added

According to SuperBroMovies, Jim Starlin teased fans during the Puerto Rico Comic-Con event that one of his creations will be featured in "Avengers 4." Although he did not mention any name, comic fans who are aware of his work speculated that it could be a cosmic being.

Starlin created several cosmic figures such as Eros a.k.a. Starfox, Pip the Troll, Thanos's father A'Lar, and Lady Death. While they were never mentioned in "Infinity War," the Russo brothers could use one of them to fuel Thanos's motivation for a new goal after he wiped out half the universe.
