After yet another week of controversy and scandal surrounding the Donald Trump administration, the president forced to push back and make major decisions impacting his time in office. In response, "Saturday Night Live" made sure to poke fun at the president in the process, with Robert De Niro and Ben Stiller making surprise appearances.

"SNL" on Trump

When Donald Trump first kicked off his campaign for president, it didn't take long before he became headline news on an almost daily basis.

However, it wasn't until the start of the general election that the producers on "Saturday Night Live" made sure to use Trump as regular source of humor. "SNL" hired veteran actor Alec Baldwin to play the satirical role of the commander in chief, resulting in the program receiving record high ratings and critical acclaim. Despite this, Trump wasn't pleased, often taking time to bash "SNL" and Baldwin during his Twitter outbursts. Following his inauguration over a year ago, Trump has gone quiet in regards to the "SNL," but that hasn't stopped the sketch comedy show from doing what they do best.

The April 14 edition of "Saturday Night Live" kicked off with a cold open that once again took aim at the Donald Trump administration.

In addition to mock versions of Jeff Sessions and Vice President Mike Pence, Ben Stiller appeared as the president's lawyer Michael Cohen who recently had his office raided by the FBI in regards to the Stormy Daniels scandal. Stiller, as Cohen, was sent down the hall to visit Russian investigation special counsel Robert Mueller, played by veteran actor Robert De Niro.

"Looking for something Mr. Cohen? Why don't you have a seat," De Niro said, before hooking up Stiller to a lie detector test in a throwback to the film "Meet The Parents" that both men co-starred.

"Have you ever used a lie detector before?" Robert De Niro, as Robert Mueller, asked Ben Stiller's Michael Cohen. "I will gladly go to jail to protect Mr.

Trump," Stiller said. "If you're innocent, you have nothing to worry," De Niro accused the satirical Cohen, before asking, "how did you like that 'pee pee' tape?

"Meet the Parents" throwback

After being pressed on whether or not he made a "hush money" payment to Stormy Daniels, the mock Michael Cohen replied, "I was just trying to milk some information out of people." "Did you say milk?" Robert De Niro fired back, once again referencing "Meet the Parents." "Yeah, like a cow, a goat, or a cat. You can milk anything with nipples," the satirical Cohen answered.

"Really, I have nipples, can you milk me Mr. Cohen?" Robert De Niro asked. The two then discussed code names given to members of the president's family, including Trump's as "Stormy's little b*tch" and Ivanka Trump's as the president's "girlfriend." The segment ended with De Niro telling Ben Stiller's Cohen "You broke the law and we're gonna catch you little fockers."
