The "Married at First Sight" season finale aired on Lifetime on Tuesday, April 24. The three couples who married eight weeks ago met with the experts, Dr. Jessica Griffin, Pastor Calvin Roberson, and Dr. Pepper Schwartz to answer that familiar question, "Would you like to stay married, or would you like to get a Divorce?" There were some surprises as well as something viewers already knew about one couple.

The decisions

Molly Duff had already moved out after a big fight with Jonathan Francetic. Molly apologized for the way she had treated Jonathan, but it seemed to have been too little too late for the marriage to be saved.

The experts asked Molly what her decision was. She said she wanted to divorce. Jon gave the same answer. He could not remember one good thing he was grateful for from the experience. He said he lost his job and apartment to be on the show and at the moment there was nothing he felt grateful about. He added that he has to reset his life and move on.

Jaclyn Schwartzberg and Ryan Buckley had some ups and downs during their marriage, but all was forgiven during the finale. Ryan said he wanted to stay married to Jaclyn. When it was her turn to give an answer, Jaclyn told her husband that he is the person she wants to be with and she would do whatever she had to do to make him happy. They both seemed comfortable with the decision they had made.

Viewers held their breath during the conversation with Shawniece Jackson and Jephte Pierre. Shawniece admitted said she was more nervous on decision day than on her wedding day when she married a complete stranger. Jephte was the first to say he wanted to stay married. He said he would trust Shawniece to raise his children.

He would later find out that it is coming sooner than he expected.

Shawniece was the last of the people to give her answer.

She wept during her speech while Jephte nervously waited. Her answer was to stay married to Jephte and to raise his children. The experts shed tears before celebrating with them.

Reunion show

Next week, Lifetime will air the reunion show. The preview showed Shawniece giving Jephte a box. Even though viewers couldn't see what was in it, they suspect it to be baby shoes or something letting him know she is pregnant. He seemed happy about what was in the box and he hugged her.
