In a hospital outside Cleveland, early in the morning, "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star Khloe Kardashian gave birth to her first child with Cavaliers player Tristan Thompson. But this momentous occasion occurred just after videos and photographs surfaced of the NBA star and baby daddy Tristan cheating on Khloe. The cheating scandal has no doubt put a strain on Khloe during what should be a happy time, and likely made for some awkwardness in the hospital room as the Kardashians gathered to welcome Khloe's Baby Girl into the family.

Tristan Thompson was there when Khloe gave birth

Surprisingly, despite the scandal, Tristan Thompson appears to have joined Khloe and the Kardashians at the Cleveland hospital for the birth of his baby girl. Tristan was photographed leaving the hospital on Thursday April 12, the day Khloe gave birth to her as of yet unnamed baby girl. Kim, Kourtney, and Kris Jenner, as well as Khloe's best friend Malika, were reportedly also in the hospital, and it's questionable whether Tristan would have been a welcome presence among them, given recent events.

Shortly after rumors that Khloe was going into labor hit the Hollywood news circuit, reports surfaced that Tristan Thompson was very recently videotaped entering a New York hotel with a mystery brunette (who appeared to spend the night with him) and TMZ released surveillance footage from a District of Columbia hookah bar of Tristan engaged in PDA with two women in October, when Khloe was three months pregnant.

Reportedly, after things settle down, though, Khloe may leave Cleveland and return to Los Angeles permanently.

Khloe has sole custody of her new baby girl

Whether or not Khloe intends to separate from Tristan Thompson, by law, she already has sole custody of her child. According to Ohio state codes, "An unmarried female who gives birth to a child is the sole residential parent and legal custodian of the child until a court of competent jurisdiction issues an order designating another person as the residential parent and legal custodian." In order to have parental rights, Tristan may need to take legal action.

The viewing public may soon have a clear window into Khloe's response to the cheating scandal, as a camera crew reportedly filmed Khloe reacting to news of Tristan's cheating and took footage of the childbirth. As such, Khloe's baby girl appears to have been born amidst the tumult of a public scandal -- true to the ever popular Kardashian brand.
