Could Lisa Rinna and Heather Locklear be preparing to reunite with one another on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills"? Decades after the two actresses appeared alongside one another on "Melrose Place," a shocking report hit the web, claiming the recently arrested Locklear may be headed for a full-time position on the Bravo TV reality series.

Days ago, In Touch Weekly magazine released a new issue and inside the magazine, a story was shared in regard to Locklear’s “post-rehab plans." As the outlet explained, her plans could include a reality television role as she'd allegedly been in contact with producers about joining the show's cast for its upcoming ninth season.

Andy Cohen “has been after [Heather] to join the show for years,” an insider alleged. And, as the source continued, now could be the perfect time to stage a comeback.

“[Heather Locklear's] people think it might be a good way for her to stay accountable and sober,” the supposed insider explained, according to a report from Gossip Cop on April 21. Although Locklear has faced hardships in recent months, the source insisted that there was still hope for the troubled actress and said a reality show could be just what she needs to get back on her feet.

Is Heather Locklear headed for reality television fame?

According to In Touch Weekly's insider, Locklear has plenty of fans that have stuck with her since her days starring on "Melrose Place" and "Dynasty" and would surely bring a lot to "The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills." However, while the source suggested she would make the "perfect Housewife,” she is not currently in talks to join the Bravo reality show.

In fact, casting on the new series has likely not begun and Locklear's own rep denied the report.

It’s “not true,” a rep explained to Gossip Cop. Instead, she's focusing on her health and staying out of the spotlight after her controversial arrest in February of this year.

Heather Locklear went to rehab after her arrest

After being arrested following an alleged domestic violence incident in Southern California, Heather Locklear checked herself into an undisclosed rehabilitation center.

Then, earlier this month, the actress pleaded not guilty to the charges filed against her, which included battery on an officer. She will next appear in court on June 7.

"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" season eight is currently airing every Tuesday at 9 p.m. on Bravo TV.
