If you have been following the Brown family for the past few years, you have probably wondered how Kody and the Brown wives manage to support their quite large family. I wondered the same thing. I had to do some research to figure it out, but a website called Cheatsheet.com taught me a bit about what they earn. I wasn't able to find out all the specific amounts that they make, but you no longer need to wonder how the Brown family members make their money as it was recently just revealed how the family members are making enough money to put food on the table and pay the bills as well.

There are a lot of mouths to feed in this family, so they need to bring in a lot of money from their TLC show to make it work.

How does this family make their money?

Now, the way that this family mainly earns their income is through their TLC Reality Television Series “Sister Wives.” It is currently unknown how much money exactly the Brown family are making from the series, but apparently, they take ten percent of the show’s budget for each episode. Now, TLC allegedly spends $250,000-$400,000 per episode of the series, which means that the family takes home around $25,000-$40,000 for every episode they take part in. With there being around 149 episodes of “Sister Wives” this would mean the family would net around $3.7 million dollars from their show’s earnings.

However, that is not the only way the family is making money to support their family as not only did they publish a book in 2013 called “Becoming Sister Wives: The Story of an Unconventional Marriage” but the Brown wives have business’ of their own. For example, Meri owns her own Bed And Breakfast business whilst Robyn has her own online boutique and Janelle also has had her own food storage and real estate businesses’.

It is worth mentioning that when Meri started her bed and breakfast, I took this as a sign that she was leaving the family altogether as the business is based in Utah while the family lives in Las Vegas.

What is the rest of the Brown family up to at the current moment in time?

The Brown family has been a very busy family as of recently as their TLC family reality television series “Sister Wives” has just been renewed for a brand new season.

It is currently unknown what this new season will consist of, but I people think that it will include all of the drama that Meri Brown is having with Kody Brown and it may also deal with what the kids in the Brown clan have been getting up to. For example, Mariah recently just got accepted into her favorite grad school.
