What caused his death?

Brian Lancaster's family believes that his death was caused by heart failure. He had a history of arrhythmia. They didn't find any substances at all in his home, and they don't feel concerned at all that there is a reason to think alcohol or drugs caused the death.

He was simply found at the house and had already passed away. It sounds like he just passed away from natural causes, but that doesn't make it any easier on the family.

Brian is survived by his fiancée, Sarah J. Bell; his parents, Dennis and Carol Lancaster; his godparents, Ed Lancaster and Janice O’Hara; and his dog, Reagan. He will be greatly missed by many people. His obituary explained him as an amazing guy who would give thoughts and even his possessions to anyone. The family held a private funeral for him on April 5. The family doesn't want flowers from the fans or family at all. Instead, they are asking for donations made in his name to Brandywine Valley SPCA, a no-kill animal shelter in his hometown of West Chester, Pennsylvania.

It sounds like this was something near to his heart, especially since they listed his dog in the obituary as someone he left behind when he passed away. Hopefully, fans will listen to their wishes and help out this organization.
