Kenya Moore has refused to expose her marriage to Marc Daly on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" following her secret wedding in June of last year and now, it seems as though the decision will cost Moore her role on the Bravo reality series. According to a new report, producers are uninterested in moving forward with Moore and have decided to fire her ahead of the show's upcoming 11th season -- but not until they secure a new lady for the series.
On March 5, Radar Online revealed that Moore is on the chopping block with Bravo Tv as the network hopes to have a team of casting agents find a new woman, or women, to join "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" for season 11.
“They are meeting so many new women and signing them up to film casting reels,” an insider revealed to the outlet. According to the source, Bravo TV wants new wives in Atlanta and have already tested a few different women in hopes of finding someone who will be a good fit.
Who was featured on 'RHOA' season 10 and who will be returning?
During the 10th season of the popular reality show, Kenya Moore was joined by five other full-time cast members, including NeNe Leakes, Kandi Burruss, Porsha Williams, Sheree Whitfield, and Cynthia Bailey. Meanwhile, Kim Zolciak and Eva Marcille were featured on the show in part-time roles. As for who will be back, all of the full-time wives, aside from Moore, are expected to return, while Marcille's return remains up in the air.
Although it is possible that Kim Zolciak will reprise her role as a full-time housewife on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" season 11, Bravo TV won't be ready to make a decision on the matter until after the ladies film the upcoming reunion special for season 10. That said, Zolciak is reportedly hoping to replace Moore on the show.
Kenya Moore's secret wedding was the start of the drama
In June, after Kenya Moore secretly tied the knot with Marc Daly, producers were immediately upset that they were unable to capture any footage of the moments leading up to the event, or the actual event. Months later, Moore was reportedly dealt a $25,000 fine and kicked out of a girls' trip to Barcelona, Spain, which resulted in a loss of $100,000 for the reality star.
“They’re going to make the official call about Kenya and the other ladies right after the reunion,” the source added.
In the meantime, fans can catch the ladies of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" on Sundays at 9 p.m. on Bravo TV.
