Kailyn Lowry is currently in Hawaii with her "Teen Mom 2" co-star Leah Messer, as they are enjoying a vacation away from their children. Many of their fans are encouraging them to take some time off, pointing out that they deserve to relax and enjoy their friendship as well. But while they are in Hawaii, Kailyn didn't forget that Thursday was International Women's Day. Around the world, women got together and marched for equality, equal pay and equal rights. While women fought for each other, Kailyn decided to give a shout-out to herself. She deserves credit for being a single mother of three boys, but the "Teen Mom 2" star revealed that she wanted credit for giving birth to her son Lux Russell completely unmedicated.

According to a new tweet, Kailyn Lowry revealed that she's giving herself credit as the experience of giving birth to Lux was the most recent and most incredible experience she had ever been through. Based on her tweet, it sounds like this pregnancy was indeed unmedicated while her previous two were not. If so, one can imagine she would have given herself credit for the two previous births as well.

Planned pregnancy

Fans learned about the pregnancy with Lux last February. After months of rumors, Lowry finally decided to break her silence. Yes, she was pregnant, and no, Javi Marroquin was not the father. She later revealed that a man named Chris Lopez was the father of the baby. He's not on "Teen Mom 2," but Lowry had hoped that they would get back together so they could be a family.

In her blog where she announced the pregnancy, she added that the pregnancy had been planned due to advice from her doctor.

She revealed that she needed to have children soon if she wanted more. Perhaps she knew that she would be a single mother.

Could be open to more children

Even though Kailyn Lowry now has three sons, it's possible that she would be open to having more children in the future. While Javi Marroquin was under the impression that she didn't want more kids, she revealed that she wanted more - just not with him.

One can imagine she would want more kids with a man, who would stick around. No word on whether she's dating or has found someone who would be interested in starting a family with her.

Do you think it's right for Kailyn Lowry to give a shout-out to herself for going through an unmedicated birth for International Women's Day? Do you think she deserves special treatment as many women give birth naturally?
