We are now currently in the month of February, and it may be the shortest month of the year, but I think it is also the most romantic month of the year as well. The reason February is so romantic to so many people is that of course, Valentine's Day is in February. Now I understand that not everybody is a fan of Valentine's Day but a lot of people are, including the Duggar family and myself.
I know that may sound surprising because of how strict the Duggar family is when it comes to their relationships and love lives, but like a few of us, this family enjoys celebrating this holiday. It is my belief that they really like to celebrate the holiday.
How does this family celebrate Valentine’s Day?
The Duggar family couples spend Valentine’s Day like almost every other couple, and that is by making their loved ones feel special on this romantic occasion. To prove this point, the mother of the family, Michelle Duggar, posted a blog post about what her family does to celebrate this day of romance.
This is what she had to say: “Jim Bob, and I will go on a date, but one of our favorite things to do as a family is to help throw a banquet for the single moms that we know.[sic]” From reading that statement, it just goes to show how sweet Michelle is, as not only does she like to make her husband feel special on this day, but she also likes to make other single mothers feel great as well. In this same blog post, Michelle went on to explain that she likes to spend this occasion with her family instead of just Jim-Bob as she said, “It's a really special time with the whole family getting around the table and spending time together.” From following this family, I know that they are rather strict with their love life, but it is safe to say that they like other people to see their love.
Both Jinger and Jill Duggar have shown PDA with their husbands Jeremy Vuolo and Derick Dillard in the past.
Is Derick Dillard still a jerk?
Well, if you have been following this family for a while now then you would know that they are in the news more for bad reasons than good reasons. For instance, Jill Duggar’s husband, Derick Dillard, was kicked off the family’s TLC reality television series “Counting On” after he made very transphobic remarks towards fellow TLC star Jazz Jennings. To keep up to date with the Duggar family you can follow them on social media and their television series. It is also worth mentioning, that you should also follow Blasting News on social media to keep up to date with all kinds of news, social commentary, and opinions on your favorite stars.
