"Pokémon" released the new trailer for the 21st movie on the Pokémon Day 2018. The trailer revealed the title of the movie and showcased new characters and Pokémon that will be joining them on their journey. The new movie is said to be coming out in this Summer.
The official title of the movie is "Pokémon the Movie: Minna no Monogatari!" which translates to "Pokmon: Everyone's Story."
This movie is in continuity with the rebooted version of Pokémon in "Pokémon: I Choose You," which means that Ash has not yet met with his friends from the anime canon, but the adventures Ash had are similar to those he had in the anime.

Synopsis
Aside from characters, the trailer doesn't reveal much about the main storyline of the movie. But we know that the main story will revolve around the legendary Pokémon of Johto, Lugia.
According to the synopsis from Serebii, the events of the movie takes place during the 'Wind Festival' that is held in Fura City. It is a city where people live together with the wind. It is believed that legendary Pokémon Lugia appears on the first day of the festival and brings blessed winds with it.
The characters in the movie, as teased in the new trailer, are:
- Lisa, a high schooler, and a Pokémon trainer with an Eevee.
- Kagachi, a man who loves to tell tales and has a Sudowoodo.
- Trito, a researcher who has a Chansey.
- Hisui, who doesn't like Pokémon.
- Largo, the mysterious little girl.
These are the people that Ash and Pikachu meet.
That meeting makes everyone's story start moving forward."
The returning cast for the movie includes Ikue Otani as Pikachu, Rica Matsumoto as Ash, Shinichiro Miki as James, Megumi Hayashibara as Jesse, Inuko Inuyama as Meowth, and Unsho Ishizuka as the film's narrator.
The February CoroCoro issue included new information regarding the upcoming movie and said that Lugia will have a big role in the movie.
We don't know how big the role will be but more information about it will probably be dropped in the next issue of CoroCoro on March 15.
Lugia previously appeared in "Pokémon The Movie 2000" along with the other three legendary birds Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres. These three Pokémon were constantly fighting which caused a hazardous weather event that threatened both, Pokémon and people of that area.
And then Lugia, being a Sea Guardian Pokémon, appears to calm down the three legendary birds.
"Pokemon: Everyone's Story" will be released on July 13 in Japan. And nothing is known about its international release yet.
