However, with this new update came a lot of issues and it has angered many fans online. For instance, some players of “Fortnite: Battle Royale” have reported sounds issues and even lag issues. Apparently, these issues are so bad that gamers are saying that the game is unplayable and that they have to wait for the new update for these issues to be fixed.

Well, as mentioned above, the new 2.5.0 update for the video game has made the game unplayable for many gamers online. One of the most common complaints that fans are having when it comes to this new update is the lag spikes. With these lag spikes, it has led to even more issues, such as audio delay and the fact that when the game itself lags it leads to really loud sounds when the lag eventually passes. “Fortnite Battle Royale’s” FortniteBR subreddit and the game's Twitter mentions have become filled with very angry players. For example, one gamer wrote online “Game feels worse than before (frames are lower) and more laggy, also all the house walls are flashing, annoying, ps4 player.[sic]” Another fan even commented “The new update screwed up my audio.

It's delayed and it skips in and out. Super frustrating please look into this.” With all of this backlash, Epic Games is going to have to fix all of these issues, or they could risk gamers no longer playing “Fortnite: Battle Royale.”
