"Days Of Our Lives" is officially returning to television to air classic re-runs. The news has delighted many of the soap opera's longtime viewers, who have been watching the show for decades. It seems that fans will finally get the chance to see fan-favorite couples such as EJ DiMera and Sami Brady and Bo and Hope Brady back together again when the series re-airs former episodes starting next month.

'DOOL' re-runs set to air beginning in March

According to the latest "Days of our Lives" news, the Bravo television network is set to begin airing "DOOL" for two hours a day every weekday.

The network will debut the soap on March 5, and the show will air Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 8 AM. However, viewers who are expecting to see the show from the beginning may be disappointed. The network will start off with episodes from September of 2011, which will feature a lot of fan-favorite characters who are no longer on the soap.

During this time on "Days of our Lives," Chloe Lane was in the hospital fighting for her life while in a comatose state. Viewers will watch as Quinn will be arrested for attacking Chloe after the Salem police find a bloody nightstick in his room. Meanwhile, Bo and Hope will be back on the small screen together as they plan a party at Maggie's establishment, Chez Rouge.

Of course, things won't go as planned when Kate Roberts shows up and begins asking questions about why the couple is hosting the party. However, Kate's mind will be distracted when she learns that her husband, Stefano DiMera, has returned to Salem after a business trip.

Meanwhile, Nicole Walker will see Brady Black sitting at Chloe's bedside in the hospital and she'll feel a bit jealous.

As many "Days of our Lives" viewers know, Brady has a history with both Nicole and Chloe. During this time, Nicole will lean on EJ DiMera to help her out as the two will later dance a sexy Tango that is meant to make Brady jealous. At this point, EJ and Sami are no longer together, and Kate will push EJ to find someone to love.

Perhaps that person will be Nicole. However, if Bravo continues to air former "DOOL" episodes, fans will see EJ and Sami reunite in no time at all.

Relive storylines or catch up on backstories of your favorite characters

"Days of our Lives" has lost a lot of fan-favorite characters over the past five years, and the re-runs are a great opportunity for viewers to get to see some of the characters on the screen yet again. Bo Brady, EJ DiMera, Daniel Jonas, Sami Brady, Nicole Walker, and others have all left the soap opera, but fans can relive all the great moments if they just set their DVRs. In addition, this is a great way for newer "DOOL" fans to catch up on the backstories of some of their favorite characters.
