Now, this new update was full of drama as with the update came not only a brand new skin and glider but also a whole lot of issues. Ever since the update was introduced, players have been reporting nothing but problems with audio delay and lag. Well, it may be time for these gamers to rejoice, as “Fortnite: Battle Royale” has just fixed an issue with the Double Pump Shotgun that players have been doing nothing but complaining about.

What was this issue with the Double Pump Shotgun and how did the developers fix it?

Well, when the “Fortnite: Battle Royale” new update was brought out this weapon had some issues with it. For example, with the Double Pump Shotgun, its damage is balanced by its long reload time and bypassing that weakness makes the weapon far stronger than originally intended. However, with the new “Fortnite: Battle Royale” 3.0.0 update that is coming out, there is a change that is going to be made to this weapon. From now on, if you fire this gun and switch weapons, it will be forced to pump before you are able to fire a shot again. It is worth mentioning that this change is only for the Pump Shotguns and no other weapons, but the developers will be keeping an eye out on other weapon types to see if there are any other issues.

As mentioned above, this recent update has had a lot of “Fortnite: Battle Royale” players rather angry with the developers, as there are now many issues with the game. Some fans online have even said that the online multiplayer video game is no longer playable.

For instance, here is what one angry fan wrote online: “The new update screwed up my audio. It's delayed, and it skips in and out. Super frustrating please look into this.” While another wrote, “Game feels worse than before (frames are lower) and more laggy, also all the house walls are flashing, annoying, ps4 player.” This is obviously not the first update that this game has come out with as they have introduced a new city and legendary consumable.
