Part 1 of the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" Season 8 reunion is over, and there are already rumors swirling about who might be cast for Season 9. "RHONJ" rumors indicate that both Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita could be filming next season. It looks like Bravo might be bringing back some original cast members in a bid to stir up the drama.

After filming the "RHONJ" reunion, Siggy Flicker announced that she was leaving the show. She was the center of the drama during Season 8 and sparred viciously with newcomer Margaret Josephs throughout the entire season.

Her departure leaves a group of women that mostly get along, which can be problematic for reality TV that pulls major views if they deliver the drama.

Is Bravo trying to stir the pot for Season 9?

Let's face it, Teresa Giudice avoided all the drama during Season 8. Even the tension between Teresa and Siggy over the cake throwing was brief, and she's mended fences with Danielle Staub. Bravo needs to do something to get Teresa to do something dramatic like flip a table in the next season to liven things up.

Caroline Manzo and Jacquline Laurita would be perfect choices to return to the show. Both have famously feuded with Teresa Giudice, and the love-hate relationship is real. Things got especially tense after Teresa claimed her former friends were responsible for her stay in prison.

Bringing them back to the show is guaranteed to start some drama, and that's exactly what the franchise needs. After all, the annual showdown at the Poche fashion show against Kim DePaola only works for so long.

Caroline isn't saying yes...but she's not saying any either

Caroline Manzo starred on "Real Housewives of New Jersey" Seasons 1-5 before exiting the show.

She had her spinoff, "Manzo'd With Children" after leaving "RHONJ," wrapping that series after three seasons. Right now, a return to reality TV might do her some good. When asked about whether she'd rejoin the cast next season, Manzo told Us Weekly, "It’s not a no, and it’s certainly not a yes. It’s a who knows."

Manzo went on to very cryptically explain that even if she was going to reconsider returning to "Real Housewives of New Jersey," it's something she'd have to think about reality and her decision wouldn't come quickly.

It really sounds like she's enjoying the rumor and wants to drag it on as long as possible.

If Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita do return to the show, it will give Dolores Catania new allies. Caroline already made it clear that she and Dolores have been friends for decades. Her return to "RHONJ" would give Dolores someone to pal around with now that Siggy Flicker is gone. As for Jacqueline Laurita, she and Dolores are practically neighbors. Don't forget that it was Jacqueline who warned Dolores about Danielle Staub.
