Bethenny Frankel's "Real Housewives of New York City" co-star, LuAnn de Lesseps, was arrested last month in Palm Beach, Florida after being caught in bed with a mystery man in a hotel room that did not belong to them. In a new interview, Frankel is speaking out about the reality star's shocking mistake and revealing that they've been in touch in the weeks since the arrest took place.

“[LuAnn de Lesseps]’s taking care of herself,” Bethenny Frankel revealed to E! News, according to a January 11 report by All About the Real Housewives. We've “been texting,” she added.

While Frankel and de Lesseps have had issues with one another in the past, they appear to be a decent place at this point in time as de Lesseps continues to cope with the aftermath of her arrest.

De Lesseps was accused of battery on a police officer, resisting arrest with violence, and disorderly intoxication after she was taken to into custody and transported to the Palm Beach County Jail on Christmas Eve. The longtime reality star was also accused of allegedly threatening police, telling them, “I’m going to kill you,” before her arrest.

LuAnn is in a 'good place' after her arrest

According to Bethenny Frankel, de Lesseps informed her during their phone conversation that she was in a good place.

"We all have our flaws. Luann’s no different," Frankel said of her "Real Housewives" co-stars' arrest. "We all have high points, low points, times we feel confident, times we feel less confident and … but I’m sorry she’s not here,” Frankel added.

Bethenny Frankel and LuAnn de Lesseps are 'RHONY' staples

While plenty of cast members of "The Real Housewives of New York City" have come and gone, Bethenny Frankel and LuAnn de Lesseps have been a part of the show in full-time roles for the majority of the series' run.

In fact, de Lesseps has been featured on each season of the show since Season 1, although she temporarily took on a part-time role years ago. Meanwhile, Frankel enjoyed a three-season hiatus years ago as she tended to her Bravo TV spin-off series, "Bethenny Getting Married" and "Bethenny Ever After," and her short-lived talk show, "Bethenny."

To see more of LuAnn de Lesseps, Bethenny Frankel, and their co-stars, including Ramona Singer, Carole Radziwill, Sonja Morgan, Dorinda Medley, and Tinsley Mortimer, tune in to new episodes of "The Real Housewives of New York City" when the show returns to Bravo TV later this year.
