Leah Messer's friend and "Teen Mom 2" co-star Kailyn Lowry just started a major rumor about her on Instagram. According to a new report, Lowry shared an article that seemed to congratulate her fellow mother of three on a possible engagement on January 13.
On January 14, In Touch Weekly magazine shared a report with readers in which they shared details regarding Kailyn Lowry's surprising Instagram post, claiming that while the reality star seemed to be sharing an announcement, she was just spreading a rumor, much like Jenelle Evans has been doing to her.
As the outlet explained, Leah Messer isn't engaged. In fact, she's not even in a relationship at the moment.
Is anyone engaged?
As for who it was that actually became engaged, the magazine revealed it was the reality star's younger brother, Isaac Messer, who got engaged to girlfriend Emily Burt during a December 18 dinner with their family. "I’m so happy for my brother and his now-fiancée!!" Leah Messer wrote on Instagram after the proposal took place. "Congrats guys."
Why is Kailyn Lowry spreading rumors on Instagram?
Kailyn Lowry's post was pretty strange, considering she's often targeted Jenelle Evans for spreading false rumors about her own life. As In Touch Weekly magazine revealed, Evans has been sharing news and rumors about Lowry and the rest of the members of the "Teen Mom 2" and "Teen Mom OG" casts for years.
Even after that, she had the nerve to send Lowry a Cease and Desist letter last year, demanding she stop talking about her online.
Although Leah Messer never confirmed whether or not she received a letter of cease and desist from Jenelle Evans, her other "Teen Mom 2" co-star, Chelsea Houska, confirmed that she had received a letter on Twitter with her fans and followers.
As some may have seen, Houska joked about the letter she received from Evans and said she doesn't care to talk about the often-troubled reality star, to begin with. As for Lowry, she joked about the issue as well and even poked fun at Evans' many mug shots, telling fans that her shady past is likely behind her inability to find work.
To see more of Leah Messer, her family, and her co-stars, including Corey Simms, Jeremy Calvert, Chelsea Houska, Cole DeBoer, Briana DeJesus, Kailyn Lowry, Javi Marroquin, Jo Rivera, Jenelle Evans, and David Eason, don't miss new episodes of "Teen Mom 2" when the show returns to MTV sometime later this year. A premiere date has not yet been announced.
