The "Fetish" and "Bad Liar" singer not only had a kidney transplant due to her increasingly worsening lupus SLE, but she has also recently broken things off with her boyfriend, The Weeknd. This according to a report by In Touch. Selena and The Weeknd had been going strong for several months, and it was reported that family and friends liked him a lot more than they did her ex, Justin Bieber. Selena has shared a somewhat toxic on-again, off-again relationship with Bieber for almost five years, and many have stated that he is bad for her.

However, it seems, Selena has ignored the warnings and the history the two share together and instead has run back to him.

The Weeknd dumped the singer

Tabloids have reported that because Selena Gomez has been recently seen with ex Justin Bieber, The Weeknd has had enough and decided to end things with the former Disney star. However, In Touch Weekly reports that isn't the case. Instead, the pair has been fizzling out since summer due to conflicting schedules. The Weeknd has been on tour, and while Selena has made every effort to attend his shows, she hasn't always been able due to her own performance schedule and recovering from her kidney transplant. She is also shooting a film in New York City at the moment, and evidently, the contact between the pair had begun to fizzle.

In Touch Weekly states they both knew it was coming, but that The Weeknd is the one who eventually pulled the trigger. Fans found out after noticing that he had unfollowed Selena on social media, as well as her assistant, mother, and best friend.

Is Selena going back to Justin?

Rumors have been swirling that Selena Gomez is getting back together with her ex, Justin Bieber.

The pair has been hanging out quite often and were recently spotted by paparazzi riding bikes together. They were also spotted having breakfast together and then going to church with one another, something that has been important to Bieber in the past several months since he has turned to religion. Insiders reporting to The Hollywood Gossip have stated that Selena's family and friends absolutely hate Justin and are hoping against hope that she doesn't make the mistake of going back to him.

The pair has had a tumultuous several-year relationship in which some feel he hasn't treated Selena the way she deserved to be treated. Although many family members had hoped for her relationship with The Weeknd to last, it seems that candle has been extinguished.
