"Teen Mom 2" star Adam Lind is reportedly refusing to go to rehab for his substance abuse issues. According to a new report by Radar Online, Adam, who is the father of Chelsea Houska's daughter, Aubree, tested positive for drugs such as meth earlier this year and is now spiraling further into his addiction. Sources are claiming that those closest to Adam are pushing him to enter rehab, but so far he is refusing to seek professional treatment.
Friends can't be around Adam anymore
According to the latest "Teen Mom 2" news, Adam Lind's drug abuse has gotten very "bad." An insider claims that things have gotten so out of control that Lind's friends can't even stand to be around him anymore.
It looks like everyone is urging Aubree's father to seek treatment in a rehab facility, but the source claims that Adam simply "won't go" to rehab to get himself clean. In addition to the reality TV dad's substance abuse issues, Adam has also allegedly been getting intimate with multiple women. The source claims that Lind will "run" to the women when he "needs a fix," but that he refuses to commit to a relationship since splitting with his former fiance, Stasia Huber.
Chelsea opens up about the problem
Adam Lind's drug use has been rumored for years, but it wasn't confirmed until the mother of his other daughter, Paislee, Taylor Halbur, asked the court to drug test Adam as a part of their custody battle.
It was then that the news hit that the "Teen Mom 2" star had tested positive for both methamphetamines and amphetamines. Recently, Chelsea Houska opened up about dealing with a baby daddy who has drug addiction issues. Chelsea told Dr. Drew Pinsky during the "Teen Mom 2" reunion that it was hard for her to explain to Aubree why her father isn't around.
Dr. Drew then gave Chelsea some advice, telling her to explain to Aubree that her father has an illness that prohibits him from making good choices.
Could Ryan Edwards help Adam?
Chelsea Houska was also joined on stage by "Teen Mom OG" star, Maci Bookout. Maci and Chelsea have a lot in common when it comes to their relationships with their exes.
The father of Maci's oldest son, Bentley, Ryan Edwards, is also struggling with addiction issues. During the last season of the show, Ryan was seen driving under the influence in one of the most disturbing scenes the show has ever aired. In the clip, Ryan is slurring his words, swerving on the road, and even falls asleep behind the wheel. After the episode aired, Ryan revealed that he had sought professional help in rehab for his addiction issues and seems to be doing better now. Perhaps if Ryan reached out to Adam, he could offer him advice or support for what Lind is currently going through with his addiction and the drama with his baby mama.
