According to Elle, Popular K-Pop band BTS performed in the American Music Awards. BTS has announced the launch of a new album before this year ends. The boy band confirmed this news through their official Twitter account on Saturday, October 14. This will be the eighth album from the side of BTS.
The premiere date of the latest Japanese single is December 6, 2017. The translated versions of the tracks on the album will be made available on the same day. Several songs by BTS including, “DNA,” “Mic Drop,” and “Crystal Snow,” will be a part of this album’s launch.

According to a report by Korea Herald, the news of the latest album’s launch was first revealed to the fans at Kyocera Dome, Osaka. This was when BTS was performing at the “Trilogy Episode II The Wings Tour.” BTS boy band representative, Big Hit Entertainment announced on Monday, October 16 that they will be launching a short clip that features band member, Jimin.
According to them, this is only the beginning of what is yet-to-form in terms of a project by the band. According to Billboard, the first musical single by BTS will be “Crystal Snow.” As noted by Soompi, the fan following of BTS almost doubled after they launched “Love Yourself: Her,” last month. In fact, it managed to become the first among the many Korean albums to secure a place on the Billboard: Top 200 list ranking seventh.
The band’s lead singer gained recognition through the launch. His ranking went from 100 to 67.
K-pop artists are becoming increasingly popular among the mainstream audience. Billboard’s World Albums chart is a proof of this statement. BTS’ album, “Love Yourself: Her,” secured the number one spot for four consequent weeks.

There are many other Korean bands such as GOT7 and EXO that have made it to the list, a report by Celeb Mix reads. GOT7’s “7 for 7” album consists of a song named, “You Are,” which managed to secure the second position on Billboard World Albums chart. This was followed up by “LAY 02 SHEEP” album by EXO member, Lay.
He secured the fourth position on the chart this week. His other album, “Sheep” has also managed to draw in a lot of attention. Lastly, there’s NU’EST W’s mini album called, “WHERE.” Among the most popular tracks of the album called, “Where You At,” has secured the fifth position on the chart. Coming back to BTS, it seems that they are planning a big surprise for their fans in December.
