A security staff ran after Becky G on stage during a concert performance of Fifth Harmony in Argentina, People reported. She was mistaken as one of the fans who just randomly rushed toward the stage.

The video clip of the incident was posted on Twitter. It showed the funny moment when, in the middle of a dance performance of the girl group, Becky G was seen rushing toward the stage carrying the flag of Argentina.

She wanted to use the flag to wrap it around the body of one of the girl group’s members Dinah Jane to avoid a wardrobe malfunction. The “Shower” songstress said that she did that to cover the ripped part of Jane’s dress.

Running after the songstress

Becky G was wearing a simple and low-key black ensemble when the Security Guard chased her. She said that her arm still “hurt a bit” after the security staff grabbed her to ask her to leave the stage. However, she did not take things too seriously and noted that it was part of the job to clear the stage of people who were not part of the performance.

The video captured by an audience member was taken from an angle where Dinah Jane was not seen clearly. Only her fellow singer Normani Kordei was seen dancing, and she was puzzled by the situation then.

At first, Becky G was unable to wrap around the flag around her friend’s waist as she went away from the stage area.

Fifth Harmony continued their routine, but they eventually welcomed their fellow singer on stage to successfully cover Dinah’s ripped outfit.

Supportive singer

The songstress was actually the special guest on Fifth Harmony’s tour around the Latin American region, Billboard reported. They just concluded their performances in Chile and Argentina.

The scene happened during their performance at Luna Park Stadium in the capital city of Buenos Aires on October 2.

Their upcoming performances will happen in Mexico City’s Auditorio Nacional on October 10 and in Guadalajara on October 12. The girl group also includes Lauren Jauregui and Ally Brooke.

Becky G has just recently released her new single “Diganle” with Leslie Grace.

The music video carried the trademark of her previous styles in the videos, with scenes of performing in the rain. The video also featured Casper Smart, the former boyfriend of Jennifer Lopez.

She is also known for the songs “Mayores,” “Sola,” “Can’t Stop Dancing,” and “Todo Cambio.” One of her latest songs "Mayores" has become part of the Hot Latin song charts, joining the ranks of Shakira and Lopez.
