The video was recently released online after Chester’s loved ones approved the idea. The video was a record length of twenty minutes as fans got to say their final goodbye to Chester.

There is a brief message before the video telling the audience that the video was released with the permission of Bennington's family and fellow band members.

According to the Times, Chester Bennington sent out a tweet about his time on the show. He posted a picture of himself with actor Ken Jeong and captioned that he had a great day. He is seen in the video stating that it was the best day of his life. Ken Jeong replied to this tweet with an ongoing joke the pair shared throughout the day.

According to the Rolling Stones, Chester Bennington committed suicide in his home by hanging, only a week later. When Jeong heard the news he tweeted out that, he was deeply shocked and heartbroken. He expressed his sincere condolences to the family of Chester Bennington.

The video is full of laughter

According to the Times, the video begins with the occupants of the car being introduced to one another. The band, Linkin Park, met actor Ken Jeong for the first time and Chester and Ken easily hit it off. The pair shared jokes throughout the entirety of the segment and Chester appeared extremely happy.

There was no hint that the singer was suffering, as he truly seems to be enjoying his time.

In a report by the Rolling Stones, over the course of the video, the group sing along to several songs. They sing songs from "Hey Ya" to "Numb" by Linkin Park. During this time, Chester Bennington appears to be the one having the most fun as he laughs at Ken Jeong's breakdancing skills.

In between the songs, they goof around with jokes and playful banter. At one stage, Chester Bennington leans over to Ken and admits he forgot to put his hands on the steering wheel because he was rocking out. This video is the last video of Chester Bennington before his tragic death. Fans were glad to get to see the unaired "Carpool Karaoke" and to see their idol enjoying himself before his death.
