He was asked many questions about the upcoming “Game of Thrones” installment and his recently-announced wedding plans with Rose Leslie. While answering one of the questions, Harington said that the end made him cry. The celebrity went on to say that “after eight years” of filming the show, no one cares more than those who were a part of it. It’s the thought of the TV show ending that made the actor emotional. He also admitted the kind of importance the show holds in his life. The filming of the show was more like an “institution,” the actor said. According to Cosmopolitan, Harington confessed that it was a more meaningful institution than any other drama school.

The actor further said that when they get to filming the last bits of season 8, he will feel “strange” to say goodbye to all the members of his “Game of Thrones” family. He thinks that it has become much harder to film, as they know that the end is near. The producers of the TV show are very serious about this matter. Several leaks had ruined the plot for “Game of Thrones” season 7. They do not wish for that to take place again, especially given it’s the last installment of the show. The members are not even allowed to take pictures on the set. Meanwhile, Harington has other plans when it comes to his personal life.
He is set to get married to former co-star, Rose Leslie soon. The couple got engaged in September. This was confirmed through an advertisement that appeared in The Times newspaper. The official wedding date has not been confirmed as yet. It is scheduled to take place during the filming of “Game of Thrones” season 8. The last season is expected to release in 2019.
