On Tuesday, Mark Salling has agreed to plead guilty to one federal count of possession of child pornography in a plea agreement filed with the United States District Court for Central District of California. The actor admitted to possessing a massive cache of child pornography including downloading around 50,000 images of pornographic images of a child on his laptop and around 4,000 pictures and 160 videos stored on a thumb drive. According to the indictment, the downloaded images and videos were from April to December 2015.
As part of the guilty plead, the actor must face four to seven years in prison and to pay $50,000 in restitution to each victim who has requested it. He also agreed to be registered as a sexual offender for life which means he cannot communicate to anyone under the age of 18 unless there is a legal guardian.
