Taylor Swift is gearing up to release her sixth album next month, featuring a brand new side to the pop artist. She’s already released two tracks so far, giving fans a glimpse into what to expect. There’s a lot of things going on behind the upcoming songs, so here’s everything we know so far about “Reputation.”

The old Taylor is dead

From the get-go, Swift is making sure she gets her message across: "Reputation" will feature a different take on the pop artist, as per Billboard. Moreover, she has also deleted all of her past posts and pictures on social media before launching “Look What You Made Me Do.” Another thing to note is her line in the same song, “I'm sorry, the old Taylor can't come to the phone right now/ Why?

Oh, 'cause she's dead."

While she’s still pretty vague about these new changes, her music has been speaking up for her. Gone are the days of simple country songs about ex-lovers as she’s taking a more edgy tone this time around. Moreover, her latest diss track with a matching music video proves that she isn’t messing around in the industry anymore. Not to mention she has owned up to the snake allegations, evident by all the snake accessories and charms.

Launches next month

The “Reputation” album will be launching on Nov. 10 and comes with 15 new tracks. That said, “...Ready For It?” is no. 1 on the album list, while “Look What You Made Me Do” is down at no. 6. Big Machine Records will be releasing the album, so Swifties should start preparing for her upcoming tracks.

A secret screening

Unbeknownst to most fans, Swit actually held a secret screening of “Reputation” last Oct. 13. A handful of lucky fans attended the event in London and personally meet the singer in person. There was reportedly one song that left everyone sobbing, and they went home with matching snake souvenirs.

Powerful references

Swift’s songs wouldn’t be so infamous if they weren’t aimed at some Hollywood icon or a famous person in the industry. In line with this, the “Look What You Made Me Do” music video has a lot of clips that allude to her personal enemies. The bathroom scene is supposedly a reference to the Kim Kardashian robbery in Paris, while some are claiming that she might address the Katy Perry feud again in her album.

Moreover, her alleged second music video is a nod to her current boyfriend, Joe Alwyn. She’s been down in London filming some scenes in important locations. Whatever the case, it seems like “Reputation” might be Swift’s biggest album to date.
