After "Dancing With The Stars" paid tribute to the Las Vegas shooting victims, another emotional night is yet to come on Monday, October 9. They will dance to a song that represents an important milestone in their lives for the "Most Memorable Year" theme. This is a fan favorite theme as it shows the personal side of the dancers.
Because of this, the dancers are expected to express their utmost emotions during their heartfelt routines.
What memorable years will the performers showcase?
The dancer's memorable year
According to Gold Derby, Jordan Fisher will celebrate 2005, when his grandparents officially adopted him. Nick Lachey's performance is inspired by his marriage with his wife Vanessa Lachey in 2011. As her husband will already recall their marriage, Vanessa will dance for 2016 when she gave birth to their son Phoenix, who was born 10 weeks premature.
As for Nikki Bella, she will remember the year 2015 when she had surgery for her broken neck. Victoria Arlen will celebrate this year as she is no longer paralyzed and was able to join "Dancing With the Stars." For the other contestants, you have to watch the show so you will know their life's memorable moments.
Week 4 Assignments
As you already have a hint about what some dancers will celebrate for the "Most Memorable Year" theme, let us look into the different dance assignments of every pair. According to Communities Digital News, Derek Fisher and Sharna Burgess will perform a jazz dance while Drew Scott and Emma Slater will dance the jive for Queen's "Don't Stop Me Now."
Frankie Muniz and Witney Carson will do the quickstep while Lindsey Stirling and Mark Ballas will perform a Viennese Waltz. Another Viennese Waltz will be showcased by Terrell Owens and Cheryl Burke for Whitney Houston's song “I Have Nothing.”
On the other hand, contemporary performances will be seen from Jordan Fisher and Lindsay Arnold, Nick Lachey, and Peta Murgatroyd, and partners Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev.
The foxtrot will be performed by Sasha Pieterse and Gleb Savchenko, and Victoria Arlen and Val Chmerkovskiy while Vanessa Lachey and Maks Chmerkovskiy will dance the rumba.
Elimination
Unlike last week's performance for the theme "Guilty Pleasures" where no one went home, there will be an elimination this week. This season Lindsey Stirling and Jordan Fisher already topped twice while Frankie Muniz, Vanessa Lachey, and Victoria Arlen have been on the leaderboard once. Who will get on top for tonight's performance? Who will be sent home?
Viewers can cast their votes for their favorite pair up to 60 minutes after "Dancing with the Stars" ends on Monday night. The dance showdown will be aired on ABC at 8 PM.
