Dakota Johnson has been linked to Irish actor Jamie Dornan since they both starred in steamy films together, although they have repeatedly denied these allegations. Now, it seems that the 28-year-old actress has debunked these romance rumors with her “Fifty Shades Freed” co-star. Earlier this month, she was seen with some friends out and about in New York City including her former flame, Matthew Hitt. People were quick to speculate that they’re probably trying to rekindle the relationship but it looks like it’s not the case. Recently, the actress was spotted with another musician and he is immeasurably famous – no other than the Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.

An eagle-eyed fan recently told PEOPLE that both Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin were spotted together having a sushi dinner on Tuesday night at a restaurant in Los Angeles. The source said that there was no one else with them, adding that they look “cozy, laughing and affectionate” with each other. According to Express, the “new couple” met through a mutual friend and it seems that they’ve been enjoying each other’s company. However, they try to stay out of the spotlight, although they were easily spotted together for the first time in public.

She has a thing for musicians

Apparently, the daughter of Oscar-winning actress Melanie Griffith appears to have an eye for musicians.

She dated Matthew Hitt for years – the vocalist and guitarist for the American-Welsh indie rock band The Drowners. However, they reportedly split in 2016 amidst the romance rumors with Jamie Dornan, who is currently married to English actress and musician Amelia Warner. Chris Martin, on the other hand, was married to singer Gwyneth Paltrow for ten years, with whom he shared two children together – Apple, 13, and Moses, 11.

Friendship goals with Jamie

After starring in three steamy films together, both Dakota and Jamie proved that their friendship is something that everyone should be jealous about. They both admitted that it was too hard for them to portray their BDSM roles as Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey in the “Fifty Shades” franchise.

However, as days go by, they managed to overcome the obstacles and became more comfortable with each other, especially in their sex scenes. The 28-year-old actress said that she takes one or two shots of Whiskey while Dornan does push-ups before they perform their bed scenes together. She previously said that she has so much respect for Amelia Warner and she can never cheat on her.
