Not even a week after his 34 birthday, Donald Glover, also known as Childish Gambino, has had another musical success. Glover has been making albums since 2011, as well as producing his own comedy show. He's a star with a lot on his plate, but none of his work lacks any creativity. It's always been clear that Glover has put his heart and soul into all of his works of art.

The success of 'Redbone'

Since the release of Donald Glover's album, "Awaken, My Love!," "Redbone" has been the hit single. The single has been so big that it's gotten its own memes, as well as a place on the Billboard Hot 100 for 42 weeks.

The album alone is extremely unique. Glover took on a completely different style in making "Awaken, My Love!" than he did any other of his studio albums. It almost sounds like a completely different musician altogether. Despite its differences, "Awaken, My Love!" is a certified Gold album, with "Redbone" achieving triple platinum.

Glover was able to produce such an amazing album with such a great leading single while producing and starring in his own television series, as well as concerts and many other events. It takes a true artist to be able to multitask and do it so well. Every one of his works is successful in one way or another, "Redbone" is just one example. Donald Glover has some serious talent that not everyone has anymore.

Most recent works and achievements

For Glover, 2017 has been a very busy and very successful year. He's spent most of the past year performing very unique shows, such as his performance at the Governor's Ball. He recently won two Emmys, one for outstanding lead actor in a comedy series and the other for outstanding directing for a comedy series.

He is the first African-American to win in the directing category.

The show that he won his awards for is his show "Atlanta." "Atlanta" is a comedy that focuses on stereotypes and issues within black culture. It's extremely funny and definitely relatable for many Americans. Just recently, film crews have been spotted around Atlanta, Georgia and there have been casting calls made for season 2 of the show.

Although there is no set release date, we're sure that the new season will be just as good as the first, which hopefully means more awards for Glover.

Although Glover came out earlier this year and said that there would only be one more Childish Gambino album, fans are still in love with him. And knowing Glover, that could mean anything. He could be stopping his music to focus on his show, or he could be pursuing a different persona to create music under. Meanwhile, fans are still waiting for his collaboration with Chance the Rapper. Whatever comes next, fans are ready.
