The latest update and spoilers for "Avengers: Infinity War" say that Thor is getting a new weapon after he loses Mjolnir at the hands of Hela (the Goddess of Death) in "Thor: Ragnarok."
Marvel Studios revealed new and exciting details about the first official trailer and it will be released before the end of the year. The company's Vice President Loius D' Esposito announced previously that the trailer was still in the works, and that fans will love it once it's officially released.

Fandango's Managing Editor, Erik Davis, tweeted that Marvel President Kevin Feige and the studio will launch the first "Avengers: Infinity War" trailer before the end of the year and comic book fans are debating whether they will release it in November or December.
The third movie's trailer could be attached to "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" since it is scheduled to premiere on Dec. 20 and both franchises are owned by Disney.
The teaser was first revealed at D23 Expo and was shown again at San Diego Comic-Con 2017. The highlights of the video include Thor crashing into the Milano; Spider-Man wearing the Iron Spider suit; Captain America's bearded look; Iron Man, Star-Lord, and Doctor Strange working together; and Thanos tossing pieces of the moon at the heroes.
There also new photos of the cast and concept art for the movie revealing Tony Stark's new armor, Black Widow's blonde hair, and the return of Yondu and the Ancient One in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Jarbjorn or Ultimate Mjolnir
Chris Hemsworth announced that Thor will receive a new weapon in the movie as he told Entertainment Weekly Canada that the God of Thunder will have something better after Mjolnir's destruction and comic book fans are going to love it.
"There is something pretty exciting coming, "Hemsworth said. "I think the fans will know and love and be excited for it."
Marvel Studios teased Thor's new weapon in the first "Infinity War" concept art featuring him and Rocket Raccoon. Several fan theories revealed that it could be Ultimate Mjolnir or the battle ax Jarnbjorn.
In the comics, Jarnbjorn was Thor's first weapon before he became worthy to lift Mjolnir. He blessed the weapon with his blood during his fight with Apocalypse as it can cut through his Celestial armor and technology.
Ultimate Mjolnir, on the other hand, came from another universe and has the appearance of a hammer and an axe. The weapon mysteriously landed on the post-Secret Wars universe during "The Unworthy Thor" arc.
