DC Comics-based “The Flash” has officially been given season 4, which will air on CW on October 10, 2017. The latest installment is based in Arrowverse, as it serves as a spin-off to another television series in the same universe, “Arrow.” Executive producers of the show, Andrew Kreisberg, and Todd Helbing recently discussed what could potentially be expected from the latest season.

During the discussion, it was revealed that Flash will be seen carrying his duties out as a super hero after Central City is hit by another cold spell.
According to a report by Buddy TV, actress Danielle Panabaker was also photographed filming on the sets of the superhero TV series. This has led fans to believe that she will be seen reprising her role as Caitlin Snow (of Killer Frost) in the fourth season. The executive producers revealed that they plan on showcasing both the sides of Caitlin to the audience this season.

While the classic version of the character will occupy most of the screen time, a more villainous counterpart is expected to put Flash in the backseat. Another report by Comic Book confirms the suggestion that Caitlin will be the center of focus in “The Flash” Season 4.
Another villain by the name of “The Thinker” is going to make an appearance. This one will be a tough nut to crack, and even Barry’s super powers will appear less in front of it. Instead of his ultra-fast-speed ability, Barry will have to make use of his forensic detective side in order to solve this case. There are a few other surprises that will make the audience grapple at their seats.
Cisco is also going to be seen going a step forward in the show.
As pointed out by Den Of Geek, one of the main reasons why there’s much hype surrounding “The Flash” season 4 because it is, for the first time ever, going to be a detailed crossover involving “Arrow.” Felicity Smoak will be seen playing a key role in the show.
Showbiz Junkies were quick to grab the opportunity at Comic Con (San Diego) and ask the actress, some relevant questions regarding the show. She told the publication that Fans of Killer Frost and Caitlin Snow will definitely not be disappointed this time. “Arrow” holds a distinctive reputation for showcasing many twists and turns. The same theme is expected to be carried forward to “Flash” season 4 as well. The principal cast members include stars such as Carlos Valdes, Candice Patton, Danielle Panabaker, Grant Gustin, Tom Cavanagh and others.
