“Teen Wolf” Season 6 will air its final episode this Sunday after six runs on MTV network. Adding fuel to the fire, the series released a teaser trailer that will definitely hype the fans.
According to Syfy Wire, episode 19 ended with gunshots and the apparent death of Deucalion (Gideon Emery). He was teaching Scott McCall (Tyler Posey) and Malia Tate (Shelley Hennig) how to fight without using their sense of sight. That is because the show’s villain, Anuk-ite, can kill people by just looking them in the eye, which would immediately turn them into stones.
Unfortunately, Tamora Monroe’s (Sibongile Mlambo) army came out of nowhere and shot Deucalion.
Deucalion’s last words
Gideon Emery’s titular role played a significant part in the series. He had a history of being a good werewolf. However, he was betrayed by hunter Gerard Argent (Michael Hogan) and their historical past was revealed in the previous season. The reason why he became blind was Gerard’s doing.
Deucalion went to Beacon Hills and fought Scott McCall, but he was defeated. McCall gave his eyesight back and a chance to start a new life. This is the same as what Scott did for Gerard because he never takes sides. While our beloved protagonist never tolerated bloodshed ever since he became a werewolf, it seems like he has no choice now but to fight back against Gerard and the Anuk-ite.
Deucalion became Scott’s friend and mentor. He did not want to fight again and ended up teaching them how to go up against the Anuk-ite instead. Monroe, who is Gerard’s protégé, and his men ganged up on them unexpectedly. Deucalion’s last words were, “Gerard… what he fears most is he can’t beat you.
And he knows it.”
Why Argents hate Scott McCall
As MTV News pointed out, the hate that Gerard Argent portrays is on a whole new level. He hates Scott McCall so much that he is even willing to work with the Anuk-ite. Therefore, he will do whatever it takes, as the final episode is all or nothing.
Kate Argent (Jill Wagner) also made a return.
She took the yellow wolfsbane by force from Derek Hale (Tyler Hoechlin), aiming to put it in a bullet for Scott McCall. If we look into it, this all boils down to the death of Allison Argent (Crystal Reed).
Her dad, Chris Argent (JR Bourne), is the only Argent who reconciled with Scott McCall and the rest of his daughter’s friend. He probably wanted to honor his daughter’s death. However, it is no secret that her aunt Kate and grandfather Gerard have longed blamed Scott for her death in Season 3.
They believed that Allison would still be alive if she had not fallen in love with McCall. While it’s not the entirely Scott’s fault that Allison died, she fought alongside him during their battle against demon warriors Oni. “Teen Wolf” Season 6, episode 20, will be penned by Jeff Davis.
