Scarlett Johansson is officially single after confirming the news that her divorce case with Romain Dauriac was finalized. On Wednesday, the former couple issued a joint statement announcing to the public that their split is finally settled. According to Usa Today, Johansson and Dauriac had quietly reached out to each other to resolve their divorce battle and the custody of their daughter, Rose Dorothy Dauriac.
The couple's representative sent an official statement to USA Today, and it revealed that the couple remained on friendly terms and will co-parent their only child.
Both also shared their commitment to raising their daughter as well as to provide her with everything that she needs.
Filing for divorce
To recall, the famous Hollywood actress first confirmed the news of their split when she filed a divorce case back in March. Following their two years of marriage, Johansson and Dauriac both declared that their marriage is "irretrievably broken."
According to USA Today, one of the issues which involved their split is a dispute as to who will have the primary custody of their two-year old daughter. It was one of the issues that the former couple had dealt with since Dauriac wanted to stay in Paris, while Johansson has several demands of travels due to her filming career.
Both of their lawyers had negotiated quietly, and just recently, the actress issued an official statement stating that she will no longer comment on their ongoing court battle. Perhaps, the actress demanded privacy.

Case resolved
After several months of the court battle, it is good to know that Johansson and Dauriac's case is finally resolved.
As of this time, deeper details of their divorce were not revealed yet. Further, it was reported that their legal documents were remained sealed and in private.
Neither of their two lawyers responded to the request of the reporters for more information about the case. According to E! News, both parties had resolved the custody issues of their daughter and will remain friends with each other.
The former couple agreed to reunite for an upcoming art event in April for their child. Further, being known as a loving and devoted mother to Rose Dorothy, the Hollywood actress no longer wanted to comment about their dissolution of marriage. Following her ill-fated marriage with Dauriac, Johansson is reportedly dating Colin Jost of "Saturday Night Live."
