Alicia Vikander and Michael Fassbender are set to get married next month, confirms The Sun. The couple is scheduled to get hitched in a small but party-like ceremony in Ibiza. Their romance has been on-and-off in the recent times but keeping their differences aside; they have decided to tie the knot.
Fassbender is apparently paying for the ceremony, and he has even booked the five-star resort for the same. Mirror reported a source close to the matters as saying that the two wish to keep all the details under lock and key. The first time the engaged couple met was on the sets of “The Light Between Oceans,” back in 2014.
They immediately struck a chord and started growing closer after finally admitting to their romance. Alicia even told Vanity Fair, how she felt “terrified and very alone,” before she met Fassbender.

The actress shot to fame with her debut as Princess Ekaterina in “Anna Karenina,” by Joe Wright back in 2012. Since then, Alicia has been picking up the pace as she wisely chooses the movies she does, including works like, “Ex Machina,” “The Danish Girl,” and more recently, “The Light Between Oceans.” Her acting skills are on-point, and her Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress (The Danish Girl) is proof of that. According to a report by Vogue, which talks about the top things one didn’t know about Alicia, she owns her own film company called, “Vikarious Productions.” Along with Charles Collier, Vikarious Productions launched their first film called “Euphoria” which is scheduled to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival this month.

The actress will also be seen replacing Angelina Jolie as the character of Lara Croft in the upcoming “Tomb Raider” installment. She confirmed in a recent interview that she had signed the film, and how she’s excited to carry out this role. The trained ballet dancer is extremely happy with Fassbender.
She even told Entertainment Tonight last year, how their connection was instant and strong.
Even Michael shares the same feelings for her. “She’s got all of those things in spades,” he had admitted last year. The two have been spotted spending quality time on various occasions. But just like every other relationship, they too had problems. Due to time constraints and their busy schedules, the couple began undergoing issues with their love. But all is well that ends well.
