Maci Bookout has been working on her husband's business for quite some time, as Taylor McKinney decided to purchase a t-shirt company a few years ago. It was his dream to run a t-shirt business and when he saw the opportunity to make it a reality, he decided to go for it. It didn't take long for him to realize that he could make this a full-time job and he dove right in.
But Maci had no interest in continuing with the work, and she announced that she would be stepping back. The "Teen Mom OG" star hasn't revealed what she wants to do, but her writing seems to speak to people.
Her recent Book has done very well, and fans are already wanting more.
According to a new tweet, Maci Bookout may be focusing on writing her next book, as her first two books have done very well with fans. Perhaps she's not thinking about writing another book, as she's the mother of three children and may not have the time to sit down and write. However, Maci may be thinking about what her next book could be about, as she may want to pursue a career in writing.
New projects
Ever since Maci Bookout announced that she would be stepping back from her husband's business, she hasn't announced what she wants to do. Of course, Maci went to school and she does have a degree she could use. But with three children and a massive paycheck from MTV, it's possible that she doesn't want to spend her time writing books when she has a free minute when the kids have been put to bed.

However, fans would love to read another book whenever she has the time. The first two books were important to Bookout, as they were about her life and her struggles as a teenage mother.
Since she already wrote so much in her first two books, Maci may not know what to write about in her third book.
Drama with Ryan Edwards' new wife
These days, Bookout could be recovering from the drama with Ryan Edwards and his wife Mackenzie. The two got married on "Teen Mom OG" after Mackenzie realized that Ryan may have been high on Xanax at the time.
Maci was confronted on the reunion special for the show, where she was being accused of being an enabler. Bookout could laugh at the accusations, as she had tried to get help from a professional to handle the situation appropriately. Maci may not write a book about this topic, as she wants to protect her son Bentley from the drama. One can imagine she doesn't want to explain Ryan's drug addiction to her son.
