Kit Harington, who plays the hero Jon Snow on "Game of Thrones," might be keeping one of season 8's biggest secrets. The star of the most popular show on Earth had one seemingly positive reaction when asked if his character is going to be a father in the upcoming installment.

Kit Harington was hounded by fans at the Italian Grand Prix in early September and someone boldly asked the question on most viewers' mind in the hopes of putting the baby rumors to rest. Does Jon Snow become a father in "Game of Thrones" season 8?

Instead of denying this, Kit Harington could not help but smile at the question. Fans took this smile to mean that there's a good chance that Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) could have a baby by the end of the show.

The romantic pairing

The romance was bound to happen in "Game of Thrones." Early in season 7, the chemistry between Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen was evident and Kit Harington and Emilia Clarke said in interviews that the attraction existed between the characters.

Jon Snow and Daenerys had a passionate scene [VIDEO] during the final moments of "Game of Thrones" season 7 that left some fans giddy. Daenerys Targaryen insisted that she could never have children again after losing her Dothraki child because of a curse that played out in an earlier season.

Fans, however, believe that the pairing up of the King in the North and the Mother of Dragons was destined and the baby fulfills a prophecy.

What the characters still do not know, however, is that they are blood-related in “Game of Thrones." Jon Snow is Daenerys Targaryen's nephew and it remains to be seen how this information will affect the pair.

Dothraki’s major storyline?

Meanwhile, the Dothraki tribe could be in for a major participation in "Game of Thrones" season 8. An alleged photo leak from a Spanish website Los Siete Reinos revealed that there is a construction of a large Dothraki hut, which doubles as a tribe temple, on the set in Spain. Fans believe that the construction is fairly recent and not from the past season.

Spoiler sites also speculate that Daenerys Targaryen might die in the finale, as another prophecy fulfillment. Allegedly, a leaked outline of the script is going viral among the show’s fans.

"Game of Thrones" will begin production of the final season in mid-October. The premiere of season 8, however, won't be until late 2018 or early 2019 but HBO hasn't made any official confirmation.
