“Game of Thrones” season 7 concluded last Sunday. The finale episode was filled with many surprises. One of them was a passionate, love-making scene that took place between Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen. For those who don’t know, the two are related on the show, but they aren’t aware of their biological relationship, which makes things a lot more complicated.
Kit and Emilia on the sex scene
The stars who play the role Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) have now expressed what they feel about the scene. Emilia Clarke in a recent interview with ET stated that it was really weird for them even to shoot the scene.
Since they are aware of the reality of what they are to each other, it becomes uncomfortable to function normally under their skins. She jokingly gagged and stated, “This is my reaction.” Even Kit Harington was present during the interview session, and he gave his piece of mind. He said that it felt “wrong” for them to go ahead with the actions.
Both, Jon and Dany know that it is going to end up causing more troubles and that’s what makes them root for those things, even more, he added. “You can’t stop it from happened,” Harington said while smiling. According to a report by The Sun, the only other person who is aware of this is Tyrion Lannister, a character played by Peter Dinklage. He is Daenerys’ hand in the show and maintains an extremely important role in ensuring certain decisions are taken.
Dinklage added to the discussion, stating that Jon and Dany’s involvement is going to prove out to be dangerous for everyone around them.
The final episode of the 'GoT'
The finale episode revealed Jon Snow’s true identity. Sam Tarly and Bran Stark shared a moment of realization when they discovered that Jon’s parents, Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen got married.
This made Jon, the legitimate child of both and the rightful heir to the Iron Throne. It also meant that Daenerys is Jon’s aunt. Different fans reacted differently to season 7’s last episode.
While some were rooting for this to happen, others felt it was highly inappropriate. Since both the characters are unaware of their relationship with each other, they are blissfully enjoying each other’s company.
Soon, that will end up changing once they know what the truth is. “Game of Thrones,” season 8 is probably going to hit the smalls screen in 2019. There’s a lot of waiting time for its fans to theorize and re-theorize on what is to take place next.
