kelly dodd was very open when she first joined "The Real Housewives of Orange County." During one of her first scenes, she decided to sit the ladies down and explain her marriage to them. She had married her husband, Michael, but hinted that he was a narcissist. He only thought about himself and when she wanted a divorce, he wouldn't let her leave. He wanted to keep her for himself. During their troublesome divorce proceedings, Kelly moved on and was dating someone else. She was even engaged.
As Kelly Dodd explained on "The Real Housewives of Orange County," she eventually had to break up with her boyfriend as Michael wouldn't let go.
She decided to give it a second chance and the two are now working on their marriage. Michael knew that Kelly was seeing someone else -- as she wanted out of the marriage -- but he won the fight. According to a new report from Bravo, Kelly Dodd revealed that she was offended when Meghan King Edmonds brought up her ex-boyfriend's name and made it sound like they were back on.
Divorce is hard
On "The Real Housewives of Orange County," Kelly Dodd explained that it was painful for her to go through the divorce proceedings. She wanted to move on with her life, but her estranged husband wouldn't let her. Now, Kelly is upset that Meghan is twisting the facts to suit her own story.
"How convenient of Meghan to omit the fact (she damn well knows) that, only after Michael and I had filed for divorce, did I get involved with someone else.
Michael and I were divorcing for two years before we reconciled. Our separation was the most difficult time of my life," Kelly explained in her Bravo blog, revealing that Meghan is only twisting the facts for her own gain.
Why is she spinning the facts?
Meghan King Edmonds appears to be telling her story, which doesn't include Kelly Dodd's side.
When Kelly was reliving the drama on "The Real Housewives of Orange County," she explained that she saw inconsistencies in King Edmonds' story. When Meghan brings up the text messages, Kelly has a different story.
She dedicates a huge portion of her Bravo blog to this particular scene. There seems to be no reason why King Edmonds should spin the facts, especially since she has nothing to gain from this.
Maybe she's just trying to win an argument against Kelly without being prepared.
