Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx were spotted holding hands on a beach in Malibu on Monday. According to TMZ, Katie and Jamie "packed on the PDA" and made no effort to hide their relationship while enjoying their fun beach getaway.

In the photos taken by the paparazzi, the two were smiling and laughing at each other. The couple even went matchy with their outfits--both stepped out wearing blue and matching fedoras. Katie donned a printed sun dress, while Jamie was relaxed in a plain t-shirt and jogging pants. Later that day, they were seen enjoying drinks in front of a beach house.

Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx are believed to have started dating way back in 2013, one year after Katie's split from Tom Cruise. They took great lengths to keep their relationship a secret, but rumors of their affair surfaced after they were spotted dancing together at a charity event in the Hamptons.

At the time, Jamie Foxx was quick to shut down the persistent rumors. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the 49-year-old Academy Award-winning actor said that such talks were "100 percent untrue" and "hilarious."

However, talks of their secret relationship have not stopped despite their attempt to field the press.

In August, Katie and Jamie were once again spotted together with Katie's 11-year-old daughter, Suri Cruise. However, Jamie made sure to keep his distance, walking right behind the mother-and-daughter duo.

Katie Holmes not allowed to date?

It is strongly speculated that the reason why the two actors had to keep their romance under wraps is due to a stipulation in Katie's divorce settlement with ex-husband Tom Cruise.

Radar Online first reported back in 2016 that the 38-year-old "Dawson's Creek" actress isn't legally allowed to date until 2017.

Katie's divorce settlement also prohibits her from talking about her high-profile ex in a degrading or "embarrassing" manner, which includes any mention of Scientology, Tom Cruise's religion. Katie Holmes is said to have gotten $4.8 million in child support and another $5 million for herself, which will be forfeited if she violates any of the divorce's terms.

"She's allowed to date, but she cannot do so in a public fashion, and she's not supposed to let any boyfriend near their daughter, Suri," the insider revealed. Now, four years later, it seems that the couple is finally ready to come out in the open.
