Former Scientologist Leah Remini has come forward with claims about Jada Pinkett Smith and her family's involvement with Scientology. Remini has released information about her own time with the Church Of Scientology and has revealed some shocking information about Jada Pinkett Smith and her beliefs.
The actor was raised with Scientology
According to the Daily Mail, Leah Remini was brought up believing in Scientology. Her parents were members of the order and as such taught Leah about the rules and practices of the church. Remini left Scientology in 2013 and has since released a documentary and an autobiography about her experiences.
Through her memoir titled "Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology" the actor tells all about the experiences that she had in the celebrity world surrounding the practice. Remini recalled an evening when she was at Tom Cruise's house with Jada Pinkett Smith and stated that the three of them were hanging out because they all belonged to the Church of Scientology. Cruise allegedly had everyone playing hide-and-seek at his estate that evening.
Remini also addresses other celebrities who are also involved with the Church in her recently released memoir. She claims that there are still several famous actors who are involved in the practices of Scientology.
Remini has made a statement about Pinkett's involvement
According to the Daily Mail, actress Leah Remini has made claims surrounding Jada Pinkett Smith's involvement in Scientology. Remini is best known for her role in the comedy series "The King of Queens" and has claimed that she has seen Jada’s involvement with the Church of Scientology.
In a report by the Daily Beast, Leah Remini has stated that during her time with the Church of Scientology she witnessed Jada Pinkett Smith in attendance at the Church. She went on to claim that she saw Jada at the Scientology Celebrity Centre. As for Jada's husband Will Smith, Leah stated that she did not see him at the meetings and could not verify his involvement.
The Smiths have been suspected of being members of Scientology for several years. However, they have always denied these claims. Remini has stated that the Smith family set up a Scientology school, which was passed off as being a Technology school. She claimed that the school was shut down once it was discovered to teach Scientology.
Neither Jada Pinkett Smith nor her husband has commented on these claims, which Leah Remini has publicly made about their family.
