The two-hour premiere of ABC's "Grey's Anatomy" season 14 brought enough drama to captivate every fan of the show. But if Arizona Robbins (Jessica Capshaw) is finding a new love interest on the show, the other doctors at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital are on the verge of a breakdown. Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) in particular, is taking most of the pain, not only work-wise but over the current status of her relationship with Nathan Riggs (Martin Henderson).
Last night on "Grey's Anatomy" Season 14, episode 1, Arizona Robbins hooked up with a fellow bar-goer who happened to be Andrew DeLuca's older sister.
Carina DeLuca's (Stefania Spampinato) presence at Grey Sloan apparently makes her brother uncomfortable because of the nature of her research. Arizona and Carina's supposed steamy night is interrupted by Andrew, who came home in the most unfortunate time and that's when the confrontation began.
Arizona Robbins hooks up with another doctor
As work flirtation mounts, Arizona slowly realizes that Carina is actually doing a research that involved what female orgasm looks like in the brain in her quest to develop a female viagra. Because Dr. Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson) agreed to do the research in the hospital, Carina may be around for quite some time, a news that didn't quite receive a welcome note from Andrew.
Jessica Capshaw's entré to the scene is full of sexual innuendos that we begin to understand the "huge surprise" she once teased during one of her interviews. But this is just the beginning after she lost Eliza Minnick (Marika Dominczyk) on "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13.
A new beginning
Meanwhile, Dr. Teddy Altman (Kim Raver) is back and it brought different joy to Dr.
Owen Hunt (Kevin McKidd). I was a happy but unfortunate event for Hunt, who is currently fixing his supposed "marriage" to Amelia Shepherd (Caterina Scorsone). Teddy is back for Megan Hunt (Abigail Spencer), but the undeniable connection between the two doctors is shown by the way they appreciate each other's presence.
Meredith will vent out over a failed operation that involved Megan Hunt.
Maggie Wilson (Kelly McCreary) will try to console her but the timing says, it could wait a while. Jo (Camilla Luddington) hooks up with an intern after an awkward conversation with Andrew and now, she's back with the same predicament that she was once in. It's a lot to take in, in Shondaland's "Grey's Anatomy" Season 14 but this is just the beginning.
