Sequel's first trailer in the Fall this year?
It seems that new theories for the release date of "Avengers: Infinity War's" first trailer have been revealed and it is speculated to launch in the remaining months of 2017.
According to ScreenRant, the sequel's first trailer could premiere next month as Marvel Studios often drop their big movie trailers in October. In fact, the studio dropped trailers for "Avengers" and its sequel, "Age of Ultron" in that month.
The second theory revealed that the studio could launch the sequel's trailer during an episode of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 5. The storylines for the show are often connected with certain events from past MCU films such as "Iron Man 3," "Captain America: Winter Soldier," "Thor: The Dark World" and "Civil War."
With that in mind, comic book fans will no doubt see "Infinity War's first trailer after watching an episode of the show. The fifth season will premiere on Sept.
29 after the eight-episode run of the "Inhumans" TV series.
The last theory speculates that sequel's trailer could air on an episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" in November. The popular talk show became a go-to-place for fans who want see Marvel trailers as films like "Doctor Strange" and "Spider-Man: Homecoming" had their premiere teasers there last year.
What to expect from the movie
When Benedict Cumberbatch teased comic book fans about "Infinity War" next year, he told Digital Spy that the sequel will be the culmination of build-ups and storylines. These were the things that led Earth's Mightiest Heroes to this moment, facing Thanos and the power of all the Infinity Stones.
"It's ten years coming. It's just a huge, huge, huge amount of work, huge amounts of storylines and it's all sort of pointing to this confrontation, " Cumberbatch said.
The "Sherlock" actor will reprise his role as Doctor Stephen Strange as he joins Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, and the rest of the MCU heroes as they save the universe from the Mad Titan and his Black Order. The Sorcerer Supreme will be targeted by Ebony Maw for the Time Stone during the course of the film.
Both Steve Rogers and Tony Stark must put aside their differences and assemble the heroes for their greatest challenge yet.
