Taylor Swift has just announced the title of her upcoming sixth album through her social media account, titled “Reputation.” After years of waiting and cheering, fans would now have a glimpse of the latest album treat from the “Shake it Off” singer.
The “You Belong With Me” singer took to her official Instagram account the announcement for her upcoming album. She posted a simple black and white image containing the title and release date of her new album.
It seems that the fans have really been anxiously waiting for the new album. As of press time, the announcement has already gained more than 1.3 million likes, after being posted for just more than ten hours.
The sixth album is titled “Reputation” and the singer announced it would be released on Nov. 10. This is her first major album after three long years.

In a different IG post, Swift also unveiled a copy of the album cover. It comes with a black and white image of the actress looking very casual in her loose-fit shirt and a chain choker.
The “Bad Blood” singer also appeared with her dark lipstick. Her lovely face was highlighted with her seemingly wet-hair brushed up away from her face.
The concept also includes a collage of mock-up of newspaper headlines, reflecting a stamp of her name, “Taylor Swift” in various layout, covering half of the cover page.
First single releasing on Aug. 24
The “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” singer also announced the release date for the first single of “Reputation.” Fans no longer need to wait any further as Swift promised that her first single is set to come out Thursday night, just a few hours from now.
Why has she been avoiding the limelight?
The 27-year-old singer has been silently hiding from the noise of the entertainment industry.
Her last album titled, “1989,” was released on Oct. 27, 2014. The last single from this album titled, “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever,” was also used in the “Fifty Shades Darker” movie. The song was a collaboration project with Zayn Malik.
Furthermore, Swift shunned away from the public eye and has just reactivated her social media accounts.
Then she suddenly broke her silence by giving her fans the much-awaited album.
Apparently, the singer avoided the limelight because she was quietly creating new songs for her sixth album. E!News reports Swift was completely giving her full focus on composing songs for her fans.
A source revealed that the singer has been busy producing her album while in Nashville. For the past several months, Taylor Swift put all her efforts in writing and recording songs for “Reputation.” The tipster further mentioned that the singer is very excited to treat her fans by releasing her new album.
